Delta Waterfowl Presents a Hunting Communication Workshop designed by hunters for hunters who want to learn how to become effective spokespeople for hunting.

This workshop will be held on Saturday July 26 2008 at the LPWWRF Research and Education Centre located at 546 Turkey Point Road, Turkey Point, ON from 9:00am to 12:00 noon.

The cost of this workshop will be $10.00 per person and will include B.B.Q Hamburgers, Sausage and salads for lunch.

• Anti-hunting organizations and how they work
• Proven messages that work for promoting and defending hunting
• Avoiding communication pitfalls, and the wrong messages about hunting
• Using the media to promote and defend hunting
• Working with the political system at all levels to support hunting
• How to defend hunting and hunting access in your own backyard

Delta Waterfowl’s Hunting Communications Workshop will provide you as an individual hunter and or member of a organization with the information you need to become an effective ambassador for you hunting heritage.

Dr. Robert O. Bailey and Mr. Robert D. Sopuck of Delta Waterfowl are the core of our policy team at Delta Waterfowl, with decades of experience in promoting and defending the sustainable use of natural resources. These workshop leaders have a wide range of experience in social and political advocacy and in print and electronic media.

There will be a small silent auction as well with top quality Delta Waterfowl merchandise at the workshop and during lunch. Please come on out and enjoy the morning, learn about Hunter Communications and help Delta Waterfowl in promoting and defending your hunting heritage.
