 Delta Waterfowl member Scott Doheny, 41, of New Prague, Minnesota loves to hunt snow geese, especially during the spring "conservation order" designed to trim the burgeoning population.
He also loves to cook the wary birds, and does so exceeding well, debunking the tired myth that snow geese are little more than "wing liver."

Species of the Month: Green-winged Teal
If you see something small with a touch of green zip past you next time you are out in the field, it may have been a green-winged teal. Greenwings are the smallest dabbling duck in North America and one of the fastest fliers.
