California Waterfowlers Unplugged

Delta associate editor Tori J. McCormick and photographer Fred Greenslade traveled to California last January to put a face on those diehard waterfowlers who hunt the state’s vast public lands system.

While the trip’s story and photos appeared exclusively in the winter 2009 issue of Delta Waterfowl magazine, Fred shot some wonderful video from one of the Pacific Flyway’s premiere waterfowling destinations.

Partner Spotlight: Remington Outdoor Foundation

Delta Waterfowl is pleased to announce it is working with the Remington Outdoor Foundation to promote waterfowl hunting and waterfowl conservation.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports "hunting, shooting, conservation and outdoor sports through land preservation, access, education, training, safety, awareness, research and wildlife enhancement."

"We're pleased to be working with the foundation to promote our common goals of waterfowl hunting and conservation," said Delta Senior Vice President John Devney.
