This stunning greenhead was captured by Daniel Sheehan in December 2003 on the Galien River in southwestern Michigan.

"Incoming"

Daniel Sheehan's second entry was also a big favorite of visitors to the Delta site - Daniel won again with this big honker as it was about to land on a frozen Galien River in southwestern Michigan.

"Late to Roost"

December 29, 2003 in Paonia, CO: "It had been so cold that the geese were coming in to feed at sunrise, staying all day, and heading out to roost very late, often into darkness. This late season alfalfa field was really packing them in and I guess I had logged enough hours to be given this most special photo moment." Great shot Kevin.
