Delta Hires General Manager for ALUS Ontario
Delta Waterfowl Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Lynn Bishop as General Manager of the Alternative Land Use Services (ALUS) conservation program in Ontario.
Lynn's creativity, vision and senior management skills will provide essential leadership in the continued growth of ALUS initiatives in Ontario. In her role as general manager, Lynn will oversee the coordination, management, outreach and development of ALUS in Ontario. The province is currently experiencing a period of unprecedented growth with five counties now boasting ALUS programs.
Lynn's uncommon passion for conservation and her deep commitment to sustainable agriculture is a hallmark of her career. Prior to joining Delta, she was senior manager of Everdale Environmental Learning Centre, an internationally acclaimed food and farming education facility. She is also co-founder of Everpure Biodiesel Co-op.
"Lynn is a great addition to the ALUS team in Ontario," says Rob Olson, president of Delta Waterfowl. "She brings extraordinary vision and finely tuned management skills at a crucial time in the development of the ALUS program."
