Fall Issue Focuses on Duck Hunters Today
Posted on 09/16/2014
Delta Waterfowl is the voice of North American duck and goose hunters. In the Fall Issue, which mails to members in the United States and Canada this week, we profile Delta’s advocacy work to protect and enhance opportunities for duck hunters.
And as “The Duck Hunters Organization,” we’re presenting a complete limit of great features to prepare you for the upcoming waterfowl season. We share strategies for wood ducks, tips for adding motion to your spread and advice on hunting Canada geese. We’ll take you out west to the Snake River for a whistler and greenhead hunt, transport you to Manitoba for a youth hunt and then bounce you out to California for a pintail experience.
Retriever advice, shotgunning tips, cooking, gear, duck science — this issue is a fully loaded 140 pages of duck and goose hunting. And you won’t want to miss the “Traditions” column at the back of the magazine. This time, we ride along with Matt Kneisley and his father, Ron, for a bit of bushwhacking on the Susquehanna River.
