BISMARCK, N.D. — Delta Waterfowl has hired an additional regional events director in response to the continued growth of its chapter system.
Cooper Huff, 30, joins Delta as regional director of Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida panhandle. A life-long duck hunter, Huff has volunteered on conservation projects, corporate fundraising and youth hunts for the Meridian, Miss., Chapter of Delta Waterfowl since age 16.
With Huff’s addition, Delta’s regional events director staff has doubled in size since 2011.
“I’m excited to go to work for The Duck Hunters Organization,” Huff said. “It’s an opportunity to give back to the ducks and to help extend our duck-hunting heritage for generations to come. I especially appreciate Delta’s efforts to introduce kids to hunting who wouldn’t otherwise experience it.”
Huff lives in Meridian, Miss., with his chocolate Labrador retriever, Gauge. He can be reached at (601) 480-1443 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
