Delta Waterfowl Thrives on Social Media, Reaches 100,000 Facebook Fans

BISMARCK, N.D. — Delta Waterfowl’s Facebook page has surpassed 100,000 likes, cementing itself as one of the web’s most popular destinations for duck hunters. Available at Facebook.com/DeltaFans, the page consistently adds several hundred likes per week and has accumulated more than 20,000 new likes this year.
“We thank our social media followers for the steady growth and impressive level of engagement,” said Jason Tharpe, chief operating officer for Delta Waterfowl. “Our loyal audience cares about the work of The Duck Hunters Organization, and helps spread the word about our mission to produce ducks and secure the future of waterfowling.”
Delta’s Facebook fans are treated to the latest news affecting duck hunters, cutting-edge hunting tactics, dispatches from Delta biologists working to produce ducks, exclusive waterfowl photography, weekly duck quizzes and so much more.
In addition to reaching a Facebook milestone, consistent growth is being observed across Delta’s other social-media platforms. Featuring award-winning photographer Fred Greenslade, Delta’s Instagram account (@deltawaterfowlpix) now exceeds 37,000 followers, while its Twitter page (@DeltaWaterfowl) has grown to more than 26,000. Consistent engagement is also seen on the Delta YouTube Channel, available at youtube.com/user/DeltaWaterfowlOnline.
