Michigan Man Wins Pickup
Timing is everything. Just ask Brent Canup of Milford, Michigan.
Last winter Brent purchased a new truck thinking he would never be lucky enough to win the Delta truck raffle. Naturally, he won. Brent’s not complaining, though, not after winning a beautiful new Ford pickup.
A Delta member since 1999, Brent has been purchasing tickets since 2003, including three this year. The truck is going to be outfitted with custom gun boxes and dog kennels and used as a hunting rig.
After getting the call that he’d won the truck, Brent took the train from Ann Arbor to Minot, North Dakota, where representatives of Eide Ford picked him up and brought him to their dealership in Bismarck.
After filling out the paperwork, he took some Delta staff to lunch and started the 26-hour drive back to Michigan.
