Scott Berg - Regional Event Director (MI, IN, OH)

Scott and daughter LindsaScott Berg was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where at a young age his father introduced him to waterfowl hunting.  From the first day afield, Scott knew waterfowling was his passion.  After graduating from Northern Michigan University with a degree in law enforcement, Scott worked as a police officer, and was hired as a conservation officer with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in 1994.

Scott was involved in several aspects of natural resources law enforcement, including serving as an outdoor education instructor, shooting range specialist, communications specialist, and most recently as a snowmobile and off-road vehicle specialist.  He has also served as an instructor for the DNR’s waterfowl school for newly-hired Michigan conservation officers.

Retiring in 2006 to join the ranks of Delta Waterfowl, Scott brings with him over 27 years experience of hunting and conserving waterfowl.  Together with his wife Brenda, daughter Lindsey and their Labrador retriever Feather, Scott resides in Lansing, Michigan and is looking forward to serving Delta Waterfowl and its membership.

“I am honored to have the privilege to work with the dedicated staff and membership of Delta Waterfowl,” Scott said.  “Together, I am confident  we can preserve and protect our waterfowl hunting heritage.”
